LABATT TO BREW LOWENBRAU

Labatt Breweries of Canada has signed a deal with German brewer, Lowenbrau, to make the German beer in Canada and distribute it in the U.S. A decision on sourcing the product in Canada hasn't been made yet, but one should be made soon, Labatt PR director Bob Chant told Adnews yesterday. Currently, Molson Breweries of Toronto makes and markets Lowenbrau beer in Canada.
