DISCOUNT SHOE COMPANY TO COME TO CANADA

Payless ShoeSource of Topeka, Kansas plans to enter Canada by opening its first five stores in the Toronto area. Company officials were unavailable to comment on when the stores will come to Canada or how advertising will be handled. Payless operates over 4,000 Payless ShoeSource outlets in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands. It also operates 183 Parade of Shoes women's footwear stores.
