NABISCO OFFERS QUICKEE PASTA
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based Nabisco Co. is making cooking pasta even faster. The company will launch Primo Quick Cook pasta in September that the company says cooks in four minutes, compared to regular pasta, which cooks in eight to 12 minutes. The pasta is made using a thin wall technology imported from Italy. Water permeates the pasta quicker and speeds up the cooking process. Primo Quick Cook pasta is available in eight cuts: Spaghetti, Spaghettini, Fettuccine, Macaroni, Rotine, Penne, Rigatoni and Shells. The pasta line will be promoted using national radio and magazine ads created by Harrod & Mirlin of Toronto.
