GLOBAL SERIES FIRES TO THE TOP OF THE PACK

Global television's new series entitled "Roar" did just that in the ratings. The show reached the number one spot during the week of July 14 to 20, knocking the popular sitcom, Seinfeld, to the number five position, according to ACNielsen of Markham, Ont. Animated shows were also popular, with Simpsons and King of the Hill ranking second and third respectively. Law & Order took the fourth spot.
