VIEWCALL TO OFFER OPTIONS TO ADVERTISERS

ViewCall Canada of Winnipeg is offering advertisers a couple of different ways to promote their wares on its on-line television service which is being launched by the fall. Companies can promote their products using ads on the service that will be audited by ABC Interactive, giving advertisers objective activity reports. In addition, companies will be able to sell their products in ViewCall's virtual shopping mall. Stria Communications will develop the virtual stores. ViewCall will also provide special trial period rates. The company's on-line television service will allow consumers to surf the Internet from the comfort of their sofa using a set-top box. Users will be able to get information such as sports, weather, news, politics and lifestyle. ViewCall has also teamed up with The Globe and Mail, Broadcast Week and The Weather Network to provide information for the service.
