CKVR HAS NEW OFFERINGS

Barrie, Ont. TV station CKVR is being re-launched on Sept. 1 as an independent, carried by cable to Toronto and other parts of Southern and Central Ontario. Viewers will see Toronto Raptors basketball gemes and first-run U.S. network shows during prime time. The station will also cover more news in Muskoka and Central Ontario. CKVR has had a 40-year affiliation with CBC which ends on Sept. 1.
