SOFTWARE COMPANY USES FIRST PR AGENCY

Alacrity Inc. of Toronto is using a PR agency for the first time. The company hired The Communications Group of Toronto last week without a review. Alacrity knew of agency founder David Eisenstadt. Alacrity has not done any PR in the past, but decided to hire an agency now because it wants to start promoting its software and its book, Riding the Tiger. Alacrity is a management, consulting, software development and training organization. It produces and markets Alacrity Results Management, an organizational, management control, resource allocation, budgeting and planning system. Alacrity's senior management has also published Riding the Tiger, which is a book on information management for non-technical managers.
