COMPAQ UPDATE

Compaq Canada of Richmond Hill, Ont. will promote four new variations of its Presario line of computers using national radio and print advertising during the third and fourth quarter of the year. The ads will focus on the products' affordability, quality and technology and will be created by Ammirati & Puris/Lintas of New York. The agency's Toronto office will adapt the ads for the Canadian market and handle the Canadian media buy. The four new Presarios are called the 1200/1600, the 2200, the 4500 and the 4800.
