MERCHANT MEDIA GETS 100% COVERAGE

Merchant Media of Toronto now offers one-stop shopping for Canada's mall poster network, offering 100% representation across the country. The company already owns 82% of the mall poster faces across Canada, and has signed deals with three operators for representation in the remaining 18%: Gould Outdoor Advertising in Ontario, as well as Western Canada's Hook Outdoor Advertising and Seaboard Advertising Company. In addition, Merchant Media is offering clients a new look to their ads called Depth Imaging. Back-lit mall posters will feature 3D images which can flip to different locales as you approach the unit. Flat posters can display a new process called Koda-Motion. These ads are created digitally with photographic images in the computer. They are outputted onto laminated screens and the 3D picture creates motion like you're watching a video sequence. Merchant Media bought the mall poster business from Mediacom of Toronto earlier this year.
