COMMUNIQUE SCORES LCBO BUSINESS

The Communique Group of Toronto will be handling advertising for the Liquor Control Board of Ontario for the next three years. The agency was hired after a review with three other Toronto agencies: Brandworks International, SMW Advertising and MacPhee Jesson. Incumbent Gee, Jeffery & Partners Advertising of Toronto dropped out of the race last week. The budget for the account is about $850,000. Over the past few months, Communique has also won the Microsoft Corp. and New Balance accounts.
