NEC UNLEASHES NEWEST VERSA NOTEBOOK

U.S.-based Packard Bell NEC Inc. introduced a new notebook computer to the North American market recently. Called the Versa 6200MX, the machine features a 3 gigabyte hard drive and MMX technology. Users can add a second hard drive, giving the computer up to 5.1 gigabytes of storage capacity. They can also develop and distribute 3D graphics and video, create and deliver multimedia-intensive applications and presentations, as well as utilize CAD and photo manipulation applications. North American advertising plans for the computer are still in the works. It will be created Hill Holiday of Boston. Canadian PR is done by Continental Communications of Toronto.
