GEE, JEFFERY DROPS OUT OF LCBO REVIEW

Gee, Jeffery & Partners Advertising of Toronto has withdrawn from the competition for the Liquor Control Board of Ontario, but isn't saying why. "We certainly don't like to turn down business but we will not comment on our reasons until after the competition is concluded," agency president and CEO Peter Jeffery says in a release. The remaining short listed agencies are: Communique, BrandWorks International, MacPhee Jesson and SMW Advertising, all of Toronto. Gee, Jeffery is the three-year incumbent on the account.
