CHINA TO BAN HIGH OCTANE BOOZE ADS FROM TV
By Adnews Staff
China is set to ban high-proof liquor ads on TV. Under the new rules, liquor that contains over 40% alcohol content will not be allowed to advertise on TV. Products containing less than 40% will have to get the approval from the China Distillery Associaton and the China Food Industry Association before they can be broadcast. There will be no changes to liquor ads in newspapers or magazines.
