KODAK PROMOTES INDEPENDENT DEVELOPERS

The Kodak Image Check Program launched two radio ads this week. The first ad is a corporate branding spot and the second promotes a photo contest for kids. The goal of the corporate ad is to position independent photo shops that use Kodak products as the best developers in the trade. The tag line for the commercial is, "Don't your memories deserve the best." The Kodak Image Check Program is a marketing program for independent photo finishers. The second spot is for the "Silly Summer Snaps" contest. The goal of the contest is to encourage children to take an interest in photography. First prize for the contest is $1,000. Various Kodak products will also be given as prizes. The radio spots are supported by print ads and point-of-purchase materials. The campaign was created by The Gingko Group of Toronto.
