RITZ-CARLTON BUSINESS COULD BE UP FOR GRABS

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Montreal says it is deciding how to handle its advertising account since its agency, Sandy Kedey & Associates resigned the business. The hotel hasn't decided whether to take the account in-house, or hire another agency, sales and marketing director Kathleen Baktis told Adnews this week. After less than a year on the account, the Toronto agency resigned because of creative and strategic differences, strategic planning and client services director Brent Nelson told Adnews this week. The budget on the account is $750,000, according to Nelson. Sandy Kedey & Associates promoted the hotel nationally, with emphasis on the Toronto and Montreal business corridor.
