PAYMENT PROCESSOR OPENS TORONTO OFFICE

U.S.-based electronic payment processor Paymentech opened a Toronto office this week and has expanded its Canadian and U.S. services to include direct debit withdrawals. Paymentech serves a variety of companies requiring payment systems that don't involve person-to-person contact. Clients include direct marketers, on-line services and cable companies. Paymentech currently has over 50 direct response customers in Canada.
