LOTUS LAUNCHES UPDATED E-MAIL SYSTEM

U.S.-based Lotus Development Corp. released a new version of its cc:Mail enterprise e-mail system in North America this week. The updated package, called Lotus cc:Mail Release 8, includes integrated Internet access, enhanced e-mail management tools and simplified system administration. Lotus also released Lotus Mail 4.5, a POP3 mail client, which is included with the new version of cc:Mail. Cohn & Wolfe of Toronto is handling Canadian PR for the software.
