DEWALT LAUNCHES REDESIGNED TOOLS

DeWalt Industrial Tool Co. of Richmond Hill, Ont. has introduced a new family of drills, hammerdrills and screwdrivers to the Canadian market. The switch on the tools lasts 24 times longer and is 100 times more dust resistant than a standard switch. A new quiet clutch torque transmission system increases clutch life by as much as 200%. In addition, the tools are mad with slimmer handles to reduce muscle stress and chance of injuries. Some drills have a soft grip handle to let users hold the tool more securely and reduce vibration. DeWalt tools are mainly used by contractors and construction workers. They are promoted by having DeWalt special event vans driving to construction sites to have the workers test out the products for the day. PR is done by Birchall & Associates of Mississauga, Ont.
