COMPAQ UNVEILS NEW NOTEBOOK LINE

Compaq Computer Corp. of Houston introduced a new line of notebook computers to the worldwide market this week. Called the Armada 7700 family, the three-machine line is geared to corporate executives. Features on the computers include integrated AC adapters, Intel Pentium processors with MMX technology, dual installation of Microsoft Windows 4.0 and Windows 95 operating systems, as well as a high-performance graphics subsystem with dual display support. In Canada, national print advertising for the line will begin next week. It was created by Ammirati & Puris/Lintas of Toronto.
