BRANDWORKS GRABS YUKON PROJECT
By Adnews Staff
Brandworks International Inc. will be heading north to the Yukon Territories to escape this summer's heat wave. In mid-April, the Yukon Department of Tourism handed Brandworks the task of creating and producing a new film for the department's visitor reception centre in Whitehorse. The Toronto-based agency beat out six other companies competing for the assignment. Although doing a shoot in the Yukon might seem like a daunting task, Brandworks has previous experience working in the area. While shooting footage for Kaufman Footwear's Sorel extreme boot line in the Yukon, Brandworks employees and local crew members had to deal with temperatures below -27C. The film, which will run from 15-18 minutes, is scheduled to be ready by late November.
