LEO BURNETT LAUNCHES SLEW OF CAMPAIGNS

Toronto-based Leo Burnett Co. recently launched several new campaigns. One is an exterior bus campaign for Reebok Canada. Each ad shows a set of feet running in Reebok running shoes. The headline on one ad says, "The Statement: Bust a gut." Then it shows an animated character with a hole in his stomach. Another uses the headline, "The Statement: Deke 'Em Out." Then is show a picture of a jock strap. The third uses the headline, "The Statement: Give your opponent something to eat." Then it shows an animated open mouth with grass and mud flying in it. The agency has also launched an outdoor ad campaign for Kellogg Canada's Honey Rice Krispies. One outdoor ad uses the famous themeline from Rice Krispies commercials, "Snap, Crackle and Pop," then adds the word Buzz with bees flying around the word. Another shows the Snap, Crackle and Pop characters running away from the bees and a third has them hiding from the bees. The TV ads also feature Snap, Crackle and Pop. In addition, Leo Burnett has introduced a TV commercial promoting Bell Canada's Quickchange card. The spot is entitled "New Apartment."
