ALPHASTAR TO PROMOTE SERVICE EXPANSION

Toronto-based AlphaStar Canada will launch the second phase of an ad campaign in the summer to promote its expanded channel line-up. The direct-to-home satellite TV company will add another 40 channels to its service. Currently, AlphaStar carries 35 video, 30 audio and 10 pay-per-view channels. Launch advertising for the company's DTH TV service began a month ago using print and radio. The second phase will use the same media. Advertising for AlphaStar is done by the Quarry Group of Kitchener, Ont. Goodman Communications of Toronto handles PR.
