Humane Society rebrands

Animal charity Humane Society International Canada has undertaken a rebranding initiative. The organization has renamed itself Humane World for Animals Canada. According to the society, the new name and accompanying logo are intended to “establish clarity in its mission to create lasting change for animals.” The Canadian rebranding is part of a larger effort by the former Humane Society International.

The new branding is being introduced with an international advertising campaign consisting of video creative using stop-motion animation to depict “a future without animal cruelty.” The campaign also includes out-of-home advertising in Canada, Australia, India, the US and the UK, along with streaming audio ads, digital executions and social media content. It was developed in collaboration with Nexus Studios and FlyteVu. The new brand was developed in collaboration with Lippincott.

“Since our founding, we’ve continued to adapt to maximize our impact for animals around the world,” said Kitty Block, president and CEO of Humane World for Animals. “This important next step in our historical journey ensures our global mission and bold work are clearly understood. As our teams around the world work more closely together, uniting under one global brand now reflects our shared vision and strategy.”
