CANON BRINGS TWO NEW CAMERAS TO THE MARKET

U.S.-based Canon Inc. recently introduced a Sure Shot camera to the North American market that has a 3X zoom lens. The compact camera also features a three-point auto-focus system, a Mode Dial for multi-function flash selection, a large viewfinder and oversized levers and knobs for ease-of-use. In addition, Canon has brought its PowerShot 600 digital camera to Canada. This camera offers a through-the-lens auto-focus system and produces 24-bit images in 16.7 million colors. The PowerShot has one megabyte of memory to store up to 18 images and allows users to attach voice recordings or comments to images as sound files. Canon officials in Canada were unavailable to comment on advertising plans for the products.
