PACKARD BELL OFFERS 1997 COMPUTER MODELS

U.S.-based Packard Bell recently introduced its 1997 line of Platinum personal computers to the North American market. The line ranges from entry-level Pentium-based machines to fully loaded top-of-the-line computers. The machines feature Intel Corp.'s MMX technology, 3-D graphics power, hard drives from two gigabytes to 3.2 gigabytes capacity and 16X variable speed CD-ROM drives. Advertising for the computers is handled by the dealers.
