EATON'S GEARS UP FOR KIDCARE WEEK
By Adnews Staff
Beginning next month, Eaton's is presenting KidCare Week in 55 stores across Canada to promote children's safety. Parents will be able to get their children photographed at an Eaton's store for a free, passport-style, photo I.D. booklet. Parents can then fill in the child's vital statistics such as height, weight, age and identifying scars and marks. The event will run from August 26 to September 4 in Ontario, B.C. and Nova Scotia, and from August 19 to August 26 in Quebec, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and New Brunswick. KidCare Week will be promoted as part of Eaton's back-to-school campaign. The retailer will use inserts, in-store materials and print ads, all created in-house, to support the program. The child safety program is conducted in association with Polaroid Canada and the RCMP's missing children's registry.
