Amazon promotes Alexa with Andreescu

Toronto-based Amazon Canada has begun a summer promotion for its Alexa line of smart speakers. The promotion features tennis player Bianca Andreescu. Users of these devices will be invited to follow along with Andreescu’s match day meditation routine, listen to Andreescu describe her background, training program and motivations, or participate in a tennis trivia game.
“The Alexa Canada team is focused on creating fun, engaging experiences to make each day special,” said Celine Lee, Canada country manager for Amazon Alexa. “Whether you’re celebrating at home or returning to in-person events, our dedicated Alexa experiences reflect how important it is for customers in Canada to stay connected, keep each other motivated, and have fun this summer.”
