Amazon conducts home makeover giveaway

Amazon Canada recently conducted a promotion in which it gave a surprise home makeover to Heather Sim, head volunteer of the Breakfast Club of Canada at her school in Laval, QC. According to the company, the makeover was intended to recognize her contributions to the community. The effort featured Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price, his wife Angela Price, and local designer, Camille Charland Perez. The makeover included a new living room, bedroom and studio using furniture and décor items available on Amazon.ca from local companies and large brands, as well as Amazon’s line of “smart home” products.
“Heather is a true inspiration,” said Carey Price. “She gives back to her community every day, without expecting anything in return. Alongside Amazon Canada, we recognize the hard work and dedication required to sustain programs like BCC, especially under the circumstances she has had to face.”
