Desjardins expands promotion with

Montreal-based financial services cooperative Desjardins has begun a promotion aimed at recent immigrants to Quebec. The campaign was developed in association with advertising representation firm MediaTonik and, a website that provides information about moving to Quebec. Its goal is to reach potential consumers before their arrival in the province. The effort consists of a new Desjardins-branded section of the website at <>  that will specialize in financial information.

“For several years, the partnership with has developed in order to reach newcomers in an increasingly strategic and targeted manner,” said Annick Mathieu, media strategy advisor at Desjardins. “This fall, with the addition of an exclusive section created and developed in concert with the MediaTonik team, we wanted to push the partnership even further and consolidate our approach towards this clientele. The combination of our respective strengths and expertise ensures that newcomers are offered sustained support before, during and after their arrival in Canada.”
