Tic Tac begins Refreshing Moments campaign

Confectionery company Ferrero has begun a new promotion in Canada for its Tic Tac brand of mints. The campaign, called “Refreshing Moments,” encouages consumers to “enjoy little moments of refreshment in their everyday lives.” The effort includes a 15-second television commercial that uses the new tagline, “Refreshing Moments are Just a Tic Tac Away.” The ad will be supported with digital ads and social media content. The creative depicts the mints as possessing “100 layers of flavour.” The campaign was developed by Laundry Service.

“As a brand, Tic Tac understands what people are feeling right now,” said Felipe Riera Michelotti, vice-president of marketing for Tic Tac at Ferrero USA. “We believe everyone can relate to the external pressures that prevent us from doing the things we love and better connecting with those around us. Whether it’s taking the time to finish that project you started weeks ago or  having a meaningful conversation with your roommate or family member after a day of meetings or remote learning, we hope to encourage people to take a break from the daily grind, enjoy a Tic Tac mint, and experience the refreshing moments that ensue.”
