COMMUNICATIONS GROUP TO DO PRO BONO SPECIAL OLYMPICS WORK

The Communications Group of Toronto will be handling Canadian PR for the 1999 World Special Olympics Summer Games. The agency has taken-on the business on a pro bono basis. The Communications Group is the exclusive Canadian partner of U.S.-based Pinnacle Worldwide, which will handle U.S. PR for the games. Pinnacle is a worldwide association of PR agencies. The lead agency handling the account will be Rockett, Burkhead, Lewis & Winslow of Raleigh, North Carolina. The 1999 Special Olympic Summer Games will be held in North Carolina from June 26 to July 4. The Special Olympics is an athletic competition for children and adults who are developmentally disabled.
