Molson Coors begins Make it Canadian campaign
By Adnews Staff
Montreal-based beer company Molson Coors has begun a promotion for its Molson Canadian brand timed to coincide with Canada Day on July 1. Called “Make it Canadian,” the campaign is intended to highlight Canadian-founded beer brands and will include the participation of other Canadian brewers. The initiative consists of website and social media content. At a campaign website located at <http://www.thecanadiancase.ca>, consumers can assemble a virtual case of beer from a range of Canadian brands. In addition, in cities where COVID-19 restrictions will allow it, Molson will sell cases of beer containing products from a variety of brewers. The company will also donate five dollars from each case sold to local charities.
“Molson has a proud history of bringing people together, no matter where in the country they call home,” said Joy Ghosh, marketing director for Molson brands. “We will champion fellow Canadian beer brands founded in this great nation, to recall the pride for our brews and inspire Canadians to ‘Make it Canadian’ on their next beer run.”
