Rogers Sports & Media conducts Hearts and Smiles campaign

Rogers Sports & Media of Toronto has begun a campaign called “Hearts and Smiles,” intended to express support for frontline healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. The effort is timed to coincide with International Nurses Day. The national promotion consists of a collection of limited edition branded t-shirts and masks, which are being sold online at <http://www.heartsandsmiles.ca>. Proceeds from these sales will be donated to The Frontline Fund, a charitable organization which provides support to approximately 150 Canadian hospital foundations.

The promotion also includes a one-day media campaign that will take place today on all Rogers Sports & Media properties, including 56 radio stations, 29 community channels, 23 television stations and related digital channels. On-air personalities will discuss the campaign and post to their social media accounts. Rogers Sports & Media is a subsidiary of Rogers Communications.

“The bravery, resilience and dedication exhibited by nurses, doctors, hospital administrators, paramedics, PSWs, and the entire frontline healthcare community has been nothing short of heroic,” said Jordan Banks, president of Rogers Sports & Media. “It’s both an honour and a privilege to use our sports and media megaphone to raise awareness and funds in support of our Canadian healthcare warriors as they continue the fight to flatten the curve.”
