David Foster Foundation releases online video
The Toronto-based David Foster Foundation has released an online video to raise awareness of its work providing financial assistance to families with children undergoing an organ transplant. The 10-minute video is timed to coincide with Heart Month in February. It depicts the experiences of a family waiting for a transplant heart for their infant daughter, as well as the family of the child who donated the organ.
“We are deeply honoured to have played a role in this incredible story,” said Michael Ravenhill, chief executive officer of the foundation. “We are also grateful to both the Chen and Audia families for their willingness to share their stories publicly and help raise awareness regarding the importance of organ donation.”
