BOZELL TRIES ON A NEW PAIR OF GLASSES

Bausch & Lomb of Rochester, New York, has handed the global account for its Ray-Ban sunglasses to New York-based Bozell Worldwide. Bausch & Lomb had announced in December that it was parting ways with Ray-Ban agency, Bartle Bogle Hegarty, after a mere six months. Elizabeth TorlŽe, Toronto-based Bozell Palmer Bonner Advertising's president and CEO, told Adnews there were no immediate plans for Ray-Ban in Canada. She said it was too early to tell what effect the move might have north of the border. Bozell already handles advertising for Bausch & Lomb's skincare account.
