SAMSUNG ADDS MORE MONITORS

Mississauga, Ont.-based Samsung Electronics Canada Inc. will unveil four new additions to its line of monitors between now and April. The entry and SOHO models will be marketed under the Samtron brand name, while the business and professional fall under the SyncMaster family. The entry and SOHO monitors will feature multimedia capabilities, including what Samsung calls a new standard in digital audio quality. The business and professional models comply to TCO standards for radiation emission and power management They have flicker-free resolution and a universal serial bus interface. TCO is a monitor label designating products as meeting international environmental demand concerns. Advertising for the new monitors will begin appearing in February in national computer trade publications. The ads were created in the U.S. and will be adapted for Canada by WhiteSpace Advertising & Design of Toronto. Samsung Canada is a division of the Samsung Group of Korea.
