Nissan conducts Glow Guards campaign

Automaker Nissan Canada has begun a Halloween-themed promotion called “Glow Guards.” Developed by Juniper Park TBWA of Toronto, the campaign is intended to promote pedestrian safety during Halloween. As part of the campaign, Nissan dealerships nationally are distributing free adhesive reflectors called Glow Guards to attach to costumes for additional visibility while trick-or-treating. The stickers are being promoted with social media content and an online video. The campaign will run until Oct. 31.

“Our goal with Glow Guards was to offer families an extra safety precaution during a dangerous time for pedestrians, without diminishing the fun associated with trick-or-treating,” said Graham Lang, chief creative officer at Juniper Park TBWA. “Using small and effective adhesive stickers felt like a natural way to ensure pedestrians, and specifically children, remained highly visible to drivers during the darker evening hours.”
