Re/Max prepares Home Goals promotion

Real estate company Re/Max is preparing to launch an online promotion called “Home Goals.” Aimed primarily at millennial-aged consumers, the initiative takes the form of five reality show-style videos depicting the home-buying decisions of real people. The videos will be hosted by online personality Ashley Bloomfield. The series is being produced in collaboration with Toronto-based Apex PR and its Ruckus Digital division, along with Route Eleven. It will begin in October on YouTube, supported by Instagram content.

“We really see ‘Home Goals’ as an educational endeavour that is being presented in an entertaining and relatable way,” said Elaine Langhout, director of regional advertising at Re/Max of Western Canada. “We know millennials are spending more time online researching home purchases, which is why we chose to host the series on YouTube, the second-largest Canadian search engine, complemented by the powerful visual storytelling of Instagram.”
