Communauto readies drive-in promotion

Montreal based ride-sharing service Communauto will conduct a promotion in that city on Sept. 23 to coincide with its 25th anniversary. The promotion will take the form of a free drive-in theatre-style event called “CommunautoScope” that will display documentaries on the environment as well as the film Québec-Montréal. Viewers will be invited to watch the movies from 15 Communauto vehicles located on Sainte-Catherine St. in front of the Centre for Sustainable Development, along with a number of benches and chairs.
“As a centre for reflection, education and meetings on sustainable development, it was only natural for us to encourage this initiative to raise public awareness about sustainable mobility,” said Josée Duplessis, executive director of the Centre for Sustainable Development, which is co-hosting the event.
