REDMOND TO TARGET CANADA MORE AGGRESSIVELY

Redmond Products of Minneapolis is trying to push its hair care products more ambitiously in Canada, so it hired its first Canadian agency. The company gave its $1.5 million account to Ambrose Carr Linton Carroll Inc. of Toronto earlier this month after a competition with three other agencies. In the past, Redmond relied on U.S. spillover advertising to support its products in Canada. ACLC will launch a spring campaign for the line in English Canada. Redmond sells hair care products under the Aussie name.
