JETFORM SEEKING AGENCY

Electronic form provider JetForm Corporation of Ottawa will be looking for an agency over the next two months to help promote the newest version of its forms software suite, JetForm 5.0. The company's new software will go out under controlled release next month, with general availability beginning in March, 1997. JetForm 5.0 will be the company's first product designed for a 32-bit environment. It also takes advantage of new technology developed by JetForm, called Dynamic Forms. Dynamic Forms can modify themselves based on the information inputted into them. For example, a benefits form might ask for spousal status. If the user enters yes, a section for the spouse's relevant information automatically opens up. Robert Lendvai, JetForm's marketing communications director, told Adnews the company hasn't been a major advertiser up to this point. But JetForm plans to increase its profile this year. Lendvai said the company will look to advertise in trade publications that focus on its major clients in such industries as banking, insurance, finance and health care. JetForm will also be appearing and advertising at trade shows. Lendvai said he will hold a review over the next 60 days, considering agencies from Ottawa, Toronto and Boston. JetForm is an international company with offices in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., France, Germany, Sweden, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.
