CMHA TRIES TO REMOVE STIGMA FROM MENTAL ILLNESS

The Ontario division of the Canadian Mental Health Association is trying to change the stigma people have about mental illness. The organization launched a province-wide poster and radio campaign this week using the headline, "Think of us as a health club for your mind." The campaign is also designed to create public awareness of mental health issues and to promote the service of the CMHA. The ads were created by Pinnacle Advertising of Montreal. The CMHA Ontario division is a provincial charitable organization that helps those experiencing mental health problems as well as those who are affected by someone experiencing a mental illness.
