Rogers Media rebrands Victoria radio station

Rogers Media has rebranded Victoria radio station Kiss 103.1 FM as Jack 103.1. The station will specialize in popular music programming. To promote the rebranding, Rogers Media has begun a marketing campaign in Victoria consisting of digital and outdoor advertising. Rogers also operates an adult contemporary music station in Victoria called Ocean 98.5, as well as Jack-branded stations in Halifax, London, Smith Falls, Calgary and Vancouver.
“Having followed the radio industry here in BC, I know that 103.1 has deep roots in Victoria, serving the community for the past two decades,” said David Larsen, program director and co-host of the station’s new morning show. “I’m excited to be part of the station’s evolution, taking it to the next level with our listeners.”
