EYE GETS A FACELIFT

Eye magazine has a new slogan, new look and new management. The new slogan, "That was then. This is eye," will be introduced later this week in a radio, poster and in-paper ad campaign in the greater Toronto area. The radio ads were created by The Gilligan Group of Toronto. The in-paper ads and posters were created in-house. The new cover will sport a cleaner and less cluttered look, but will still use the "sassy word-play" that is eye's trademark. Debra Aronson has joined the magazine as general manager. Most recently she was vice-president at Hilary Thom Media of Toronto. Bill Reynolds has moved from managing editor of eye to editor. Chloe Arnould has joined eye as sales and marketing manager. Previously she was account manager for TV Times. Eye is distributed weekly for free in the greater Toronto area. It has a circulation of 96,000.
