Ontario Science Centre readies Apollo 11 event

The Ontario Science Centre in Toronto will conduct a promotional event on July 20 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing. The one-day event is part of the attraction’s “Summer of Space” program. It will feature Canadian Space Agency astronaut Robert Thirsk and a collection of interactive family activities, including telescope observing and the debut of a documentary about Canadian contributions to the Apollo program.
