ENTERTAINMENT GIANTS REACH MARKETING AGREEMENT

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and Saban Entertainment have reached a video marketing and distribution agreement covering Saban's library of children's programming. The deal includes both the U.S. and English-speaking Canadian markets. Under the agreement, the companies will create a new video line for much of Saban's current and future programming. The first release will be a feature-length BEETLEBORGS movie video based on the children's cartoon strip. It will be launched in March to coincide with the release of Bandai's new spring toy line, which includes BEETLEBORGS. A TV campaign, a bonus BEETLEBORGS music video and a mail-in offer for a free action figure from Bandai will support the video. Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment will handle the creative for the ads in-house. U.S.-based Focus Media will execute the media buy in Canada and the U.S. Both Saban and Twentieth Century Fox are based in the U.S. Saban develops, produces, acquires, distributes and merchandises children's TV programming, music and feature films. It also merchandises other children's products and has developments in other entertainment areas including publishing, video games and live events. Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment is a division of the Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation. The company markets various video and interactive products.
