Brain injury group readies online video

Advocacy group Acquired Brain Injury Survivor Solutions will release a promotional online video on Feb. 10. The video is intended to raise awareness of issues with automobile insurance companies that consumers can experience following a catastrophic injury. The initiative uses descriptions of personal experiences to highlight problems members of the organization have had with the insurance industry.
“You pay your insurance premiums faithfully for many years,” said Dave Gaylor, member of ABISS. “Unfortunately, when it comes to making a claim for your serious, life-changing injuries from an automobile collision, the insurance companies are just not on your side.”
