TIM HORTONS USES REGULAR COFFEE CUSTOMERS IN TV ADS
By Adnews Staff
Tim Hortons launched a national TV campaign earlier this month to position its coffee in the middle ground between specialty coffee found at coffee shops and discount coffee bought in convenience stores or fast food outlets. The ads tell the true stories of regular customers of Tim Hortons. The first story is about a woman in Atlantic Canada who regularly makes a trek up a hill for her cup of Tim Hortons coffee. The second spot is about a man in Saint John, New Brunswick who like his Tim Hortons coffee enough that his dog, Sammi, got in the habit of fetching the coffee from the local Tim Hortons. The campaign was created by Enterprise Advertising of Toronto. Partners Film Company of Toronto produced the ads.
