HOME SHOW HIRES CRANE

Southex Exhibitions Inc. has given the PR account for the 1997 National Home Show to Crane Communications of Mississauga, Ont. The agency got the nod in November after beating out three other short listed agencies in a three-month review process. Show manager Ross Horton told Adnews he hired Crane because of the agency's show experience. Crane specializes in publicity for trade and consumer shows. The National Home Show runs from April 4 to 13. It will be the first event held in the National Trade Centre in Toronto and will boast a full range of home and garden products. Toronto-based Southex Exhibitions is owned by dmg Exhibition Group company of London, England.
