Roots readies Shawn Mendes promotion

Toronto-based apparel retail chain Roots has begun a promotion called "Roots x Shawn Mendes." The promotion features a collection of merchandise designed in collaboration with musician Shawn Mendes. The merchandise will be sold for a limited time at a temporary retail location within the Roots store at the CF Eaton Centre shopping mall in Toronto on Dec. 4. The products will also be sold online at <http://www.roots.com> on Dec. 5. Consumers who attend the in-store event will also receive a code that will allow them to purchase tickets to an upcoming Mendes show in Toronto. The product line includes a hooded sweatshirt, sweatpants, t-shirts, a toque and a leather jacket.

"It is an honour to work with such an incredibly talented Canadian singer and songwriter and bring his vision to life. The collection is the beginning of an ongoing creative relationship; we are excited to see where we can take this."
